◉ Structure of the exam
The entrance exam consists of two parts (A and B) having the finality of assessing the abilities of the candidates for studying Artistic Higher Education. Part A will be qualified as Pass or Fail, giving access to part B which computes the 100% of the final qualification.
Those applicants who own the Professional Degree will take a specific aural recognition and musical analysis exam instead of part A, as long as the title is of the same instrument to which it is applying.

ⓘ For Part A, you will need to bring writing materials, a mobile phone, and headphones to listen to the audio files that will be provided via a QR code.
ⓘ As a guide, the center publishes a list of reference works for each instrument. In any case, the repertoire is open (except for the instrumental section of Part A in the Sonology specialization), and you may even present your own compositions that are at a level equivalent to those suggested by the center. Stylistic diversity will be valued.
ⓘ Performance applicants must bring two copies of the scores for their chosen repertoire for Part B on the day of the exam.
ⓘ Part B of Performance can be performed with accompanying musicians provided by the applicant or with backing tracks. However, bringing accompanying musicians will be considered an asset.
ⓘ The instrumental section of Part A of Sonology can be performed solo or with a backing track. If using a backing track, the applicant must provide a USB drive with the audio file in wav or mp3 format.
