THEATRE WORKSHOPS WITH GEMMA CHARINES

COURSE OBJECTIVES

The main objectives of the workshop is to teach people to express themselves, to overcome their difficulties with language, communication and see and live life differently.

Thanks to the theater a real social, cultural and human formation for both children and adults, bring new qualities to the technical level and in relation to personal development is achieved.

✪ Technical work:

– Knowledge of space and laterality.

– Breathing and relaxation.

– The importance of the voice and diction.

– The importance of the body in representation.

– Listen and listen.

– Improvisation of scenes.

– Storage of scenes.

✪ Attitude and values

– Respect for the individual and collective work.

– Criticism and self-criticism.

– Assessment of the theater as a means of expression and communication.

METHODOLOGY

During the development of the course, the main objective is to do theater, play, have fun, share, learn to play, namely to be on stage and enjoy performing.

But it is able to show everything we have learned and that brings us to be a possible actor, and what better way to prove that successfully performing a play at the end of the workshop.

In order to achieve these objectives we will divide the course in 3 quarters, each with specific tasks:

✪ 1st Quarter October-December

– Exercises of physical expression (motor expression, rhythm, expression of feelings)

– Scenic Movement (laterality, orientation, movement, improvisation games)

– Dramatic Play (character creation, playback and creation of everyday situations)

– Speaking (voice, sounds, diction, breathing, narrative invention

✪ 2nd Quarter January-March

– Choose the play to represent.

– Distribution of roles.

– Home of the readings of the work.

– Jobs improvisational scenes.

– Work to reach the understanding of the text and the message of the work.
