Jam Session Music School opened in 1998 as an alternative to the more traditional schools of modern music. Since its inception highlighted by his own personality and his avant-garde trend, betting on a new educational trend leaning towards new more contemporary urban music.

After more than a decade, Jam Session became the pioneer school in Spain form the first class of students and teachers officially licensed Rock and Contemporary Music, by an independent European court examined and certified technical and educational level of the center being a role model for many other schools across the country.

In 2013, the School of Music Jam Session presented to the Department of Enseyament of the Generalitat de Catalunya a new project of specialized higher education in "Rock Music Urban and New Trends", which involved an educational renewal in line with demand current society and already in 2014, Jam Session opened its Superior School of Music to offer this unique title official and nationwide.
